In the studio

July 30, 2009 8:04 am

Ghost Ghost recording summer 2009We’ve been a little quieter than usual, and here’s why: Ghost Ghost is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on our second EP, coming at you this September. This time around, we did the recording ourselves in our Lower East Side practice space. Expect some stylistic twists and turns into areas we haven’t explored as a band yet, such as: Guns N’ Roses circa 1990; an unexplainable TV on the Radio influence; and “Surely You’re Joking, Mr. Kemmerer.”

We’ll be back on stage and in the lights this September with a record release party, a gallery show with Charlie Kemmerer at the Tompkins Square New York Public Library, and a host of other engagements designed to make you shake what your mama gave you.

Knocks From the Underground

Knocks From the UndergroundMusic blog Knocks From the Underground reviewed our EP and had a lot of nice things to say.  In fact, they had nothing but nice things to say, such as this little gem: “the trio deftly swings between styles and somehow manages to own each one.”  Awesome to the max.
