The event is a celebration of poet Edna St. Vincent Millay’s life, on the eve of the sixtieth anniversary of her death in 1950. Tim Bartlett will be projecting video onto a custom stage set built just for this performance, and special guest Mark Christensen will join us on guitar. More details here.

The album title is No Clothes on Ragged Island, and each of the ten songs is inspired by a scene from the poet’s life.  The songs were written by Kevin and Karl, five songs each, in about 24 hours as part of the RPM Challenge. These are the rough demo recordings made yesterday. A more finished version is in the works, and due by the end of the week–no, seriously, we have to turn them in on March 1.  Complete lyrics and chords for all songs are also online at http://bit.ly/ckIsLk .
