Friday night at Club Europa

February 26, 2009 5:09 pm

Ghost Ghost at Club Europa Friday nightOnce in a blue moon the alignment of Venus and Mars brings the world to a serene and quiet place.  This is not one of those times.

Friday night, Ghost Ghost (8:30PM) will be joining The Deuce And A Quarter (9:30PM) at the Brooklyn Music And Film Festival at Club Europa in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.  Charlie Kemmerer will be painting live during our set. Also on the bill are Damien “Too Tall” Drake and The Field Recordings.  Films and animation by Ronni Raygun Thomas, Anthony Jones and Vickers will also materialize.

It will transpire at Europa Night Club – the place with the tiny elevated stage meant for inadvertent stage diving.  It all kicks off at 8PM when they might actually unlock the doors and let us all in.  It’s $5, 21+ and at 98 Messerole Ave on the corner of Manhattan Ave, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.  G Train.  Maybe you hit one of these fine Greenpoint restaurants before the show.  Whatever you do beforehand, we’ll see you there.

On Feb. 27 at 8:30 PM, Ghost Ghost will once again stride onto the highly-elevated and too-small stage at Club Europa in Greenpoint.  Inadvertent stage diving is likely.  So spend a Friday night in beautiful Greenpoint with Ghost Ghost followed by The Deuce and a Quarter, featuring the lovely and talented Adam Chimera on keys + shouting.  $5, 21+.  Club Europa is located at 98 Meserole Ave. at the corner of Manhattan Ave. in Greenpoint Brooklyn.
